Smart Cells International is one of the world's leading stem cell storage companies. Since 2001 we have been safely collecting and storing umbilical cord stem cells for thousands of parents all over the world.
 
Smart Cells was the first company in the UK to offer stem cell storage. For stem cells storage Smart Cells uses the state-of-the-art partner laboratory in Plymouth. This facility is MHRA accredited and exceeds all UK and EU regulations.
 
Our partner laboratory is the only private facility to be chosen to store peripheral blood stem cell samples for the NHS and we are also the only UK laboratory to run all testing and processing in-house. Our laboratory is used solely for processing and storage. We do not conduct any research on samples.
