Retrieval of your baby's stem cells

If your child's stem cells are ever needed, they can be sent direct to a transplant centre anywhere in the world.
 
We use special transplant containers which can maintain the cryogenic temperatures for long periods of time, ensuring they arrive exactly as they were stored at our partner laboratory.  
 
Cost of Retrieval
 
The cost of retrieval is included in the SmartBaby fee, it is not charged extra.
 
Although we store the stem cells on your behalf, they remain your property and parents or legal guardians can retrieve samples at any time. Once your child reaches legal age, the samples become their property.
